Would you Open Pandora's Box?

Everybody's heard the tale of Pandora and her box, and how she released the evils of the world when it was opened. Some people might blame Pandora for being careless enough to do such a thing, because she was too curious ("curiosity killed the cat", right?). But let's think about the situation from Pandora's point of view: if you were Pandora, would you open it?
Here's the situation:
You've been created by the gods. Hephaestus molded you out of clay and Zeus breathed life into you. The gods give you many gifts, but what we'll prioritize in this story is the gift of curiosity, gifted to you by Hera. Hermes gives you a wonderfully gorgeous golden box and tells you to never open it, ever. Hermes then takes you to Epimetheus, brother of Prometheus. You're now married to Epimetheus, congratulations! You have the happiest life in the world and nothing's bothering you - except for the box. Since you can't resist the temptation of opening the box (thanks for the gift of curiosity, Hera.), you lock the box in an oak chest, dig a hole in your garden, place the chest in the hole, cover the hole, and (to top it off) you roll a boulder over the covered hole. That night, you feel like you can't sleep. You go out to the garden, roll the boulder away and uncover the hole, then pick up the box.
Now comes the big question:
Will you open the box?
Remember, you're now in Pandora's shoes.
